For YOU, going to Thailand means FAST-TRACKING your dating life.
Compared to your home country, your level of perceived attractiveness INSTANTLY goes up a few points while at the same time, you have access to hundreds of options for quick fun meet-ups, and even long-term dating.
In short, you have the option of compressing years or decades worth of experiences into just a few weeks.
Really let that sink it. Whether we’re talking about general quality of life, or you are an entrepreneur who is always short on time, what would compressing years worth of dating experiences into just a few weeks really mean?
For most guys, visiting Thailand is a life-changing experience. At the very least in terms of time saved and sanity kept!
Now, that’s the bird’s eye view. Big picture.
BUT as part of that Thailand trip, there are things you can and should optimize to make it even more efficient, and other things you must absolutely avoid wasting your time on.
Hyper-optimize your trip for that 10x return on your time, and money spent. This is what I will cover: the small, but absolutely critical optimizations.
Those things can mean better value for your money, but optimizing doesn’t necessarily equal spending less. In some cases, it means either spending on the right things, or even spending more but on things that provide better value, or save you time.
Keep It TIGHT: 3 Weeks VS. 3 Months
Now, let’s talk length of your stay. For most guys – especially first-time visitors – a brief 2-3 week visit will offer the greatest return on investment.
You can, of course, stay as long as you wish, but …
Don’t make the mistake of thinking you need to postpone your trip because you can’t take a month off work. That first trip can be kept brief; it will be highly immersive anyway as literally EVERYTHING you experience is new and exciting.
The threshold for stimulation is very low, everything will feel like a small or big adventure.
Now, I would say anything beyond 2-3 weeks is a matter of personal preference in terms of how much you get out of it. Think about it: in the first few weeks, you will go do all that you’ve thought about, or seen in videos, and so naturally doing “certain activities” over and over again by staying longer will yield less excitement.
That first girl you meet, that first special massage, will always be more exciting than the 20th one. And so, the perceived value goes down – unless you take a break.
Keeping your trip short, and perhaps doing a second trip a few months later instead of one long trip is something you should consider.
Starting Your Night
There are many ways of starting your night, and which you choose depends on your personal preferences. Some guys like to have drinks at beer bars starting somewhere between 6-8PM, and just get a buzz going, engage in some people watching at a seat facing the streets.
Think Soi Cowboy, the outside areas of Nana Plaza where there’s lots of Red Light activities to watch, interactions, hot girls, etc.
I’ve mentioned this in a previous video, but if you’re new and want to soak in the atmosphere, and do a bit of exploring at the same time, a great option is getting drinks at 7-Eleven and just walking around while you work yourself into a buzz.
I’ve done this many, many times and it’s great. One, you naturally get to interact with people in general, and girls on the street, and see things, which is perfect if you are new. Second, in Thailand, you can drink alcohol out in the open, and 7-Eleven is a great value option in terms of drinks.
You’ll pay between $1-2 USD for a beer at 7-Eleven; that same beer would cost double or triple that at a bar. I’m a Chang guy, but most beers are similarly priced.
Although my pre-drinking is usually different, and doesn’t include beer. Here’s what I would usually do:
I’d get 3 things from 7-Eleven prior to going out.
- Bottle of vodka (either raspberry or green apple; but can be non-flavored); depending on the size/brand around 250-300 Baht
- Coke Zero
- 1x Large plastic cup (located at the drink dispenser; you can get just the cup, or fill it with ice)
If you share the vodka with someone, you can mix the combo right away. Otherwise just get it during the day, put it in your fridge at the room and just mix when leaving, and you just walk around while drinking from the cup.
Tastes great, it’s cheap, and most importantly, it just works. No need to drink 10 beers to feel something.
Keep in mind alcohol hours at stores! You can only buy alcohol up until midnight at 7-Eleven! Outside of alcohol hours only at bars, from street vendors, and restaurants, and most likely also at the hotel you are staying at.
Enhance Fun (Not Medical Advice)
Fun with women is one of (if not THE) the reasons most guys visit Thailand, so it makes sense to optimize that aspect as well.
Obviously not medical advice, but seek medical advice if you need to up your game in that department. In other words, if you are not performing as you wish …
I’ve mentioned this generic product (show Sidegra) before, and if you need to get a doctor consultation right at the start of your trip, then it can certainly be one of the best investments, a lot of bang for your buck.
Think of it this way: Your night out probably involves alcohol. How much fun would it be doing all of that sober?
That’s sort of how these enhancers can feel in the bedroom – but again make your own decision and talk to a doctor if necessary. Pulse Clinic I’ve mentioned as my favorite, but there are clinics/doctors all over the place.
Move Fast
Going from Bangkok to Pattaya (or vice-versa), I highly recommend taking a private taxi for convenience. Yes, it will be the equivalent of $50 USD instead of $10 but I say that premium is very much worth it.
Instead of having to adhere to a bus schedule, you will be picked up directly at your place, at your convenience and dropped off directly at your destination.
Not having to go to the bus station, waiting for the departure, then – upon arrival – having to get from the bus station to your final destination. You skip all of that.
In general, using Grab (the Thai version of Uber) is often worth the extra cost. No hailing a taxi, and having to explain where you want to go. It is all way more convenient.
The metro/skytrain system is very good, and probably your best option for longer distances within Bangkok.
I haven’t used a motorbike taxi in years. During rush hour, there’s no faster option of getting from A to B, but for me, it’s just not worth the risk. These guys have a level of risk tolerance that I don’t feel comfortable with, hundreds of motorbike death every year. So, yeah, make your own decision.
At the very least if you use a motorbike taxi, just make sure you absolutely never use it while you are drunk!
Planning = Overkill?
Should you plan your trip? And if so, how much? Or should you be completely spontaneous, be in the moment?
Some would argue planning takes away from the adventure. I have a different stance …
My personal opinion: Being spontaneous and no planning will probably end in disaster. I say you need to plan to have the foundation, the basics in place – and that gives you the peace of mind to be totally in the moment, to be spontaneous, to have that adventure.
That is how I handle it. If there are things I need to think or worry about, that takes away from that adventure, it literally takes me out of the moment. Such as a shitty place you are staying at because you didn’t plan, or not knowing where you will stay the next 2 days, etc. etc.
Didn’t bring condoms, so you buy shitty local ones that break, or using no condoms at all. Then you have fun one night, and spend the remainder of your trip worrying.
It’s this small things that can ruin your trip, so I think not planning is high risk.
And being spontaneous in Thailand is both easy and low-cost. For example, planning WHERE you stay, and some basic in regards to experiences are HIGH-ROI, meaning the time you spend on this will dramatically impact your overall Thailand experience.
Imagine a shitty place, loud neighbors in the rooms, etc. etc. that alone can ruin the trip for some. It would certainly ruin my trip.
